Children will bring home their homework books on a Friday; these will be collected in on the following Wednesday.
Here is a copy of our Autumn term overview! Our key project question this term is 'What does it take to be a hero?'
Real Life heroes: Police Visit
Yellow class learnt about the police and how they help us. We talked about what we knew already about the jobs that they do.
The year one children worked in small groups to write sentences about the different police photographs and talked about what they could see. Reception children labelled a picture of a police officer and did a great job.
In the afternoon two police officers came to visit! They talked about their job and showed yellow class their police car. We saw the flashing lights and heard the siren!
Yellow class can recall lots of facts about the police now. Well done everyone!
