Intent
Technology is everywhere and will play a pivotal part in children's lives both now and in the future. We want to equip children with the skills to navigate our ever changing technological world. In our school we model and educate our pupils on how to use technology positively, responsibly, independently and safely. We make Computing lessons fun and engaging whilst also regularly highlighting the safe and responsible use of any technology that is being used. We have embedded Computing throughout the curriculum so that children have the chance to practise and use their skills in a wide range of subjects as well as discretely within Computing lessons. We provide high quality hardware and software for the children to use to enhance their learning including iPads, programmable robots and Chromebooks (Y2s).
