Sports Leaders

We are a group of KS1 children who lead active games during playtime. Our mission is to get lots of children active; the games we play ensure their hearts are beating fast!

Sports Leaders 2022-2023

Over 50% of our Year 1 children regularly apply to be Sports Leaders. 

They have Sports Leader training with the Get Ahead Partnership.

Sports Leader applications

Every year in June our Year 1 children are able to apply for the role of Sports Leader by completing an application form. The successful candidates receive a very special letter to let them know they have the job!
