Welcome to the PTA (parent, teacher association) section!
At Bottesford Infant School we are lucky to have a very active Parent Group who organise lots of super events to raise money for our school. They meet each half term as a committee and then they host at least one event each term for the children and their families to enjoy.
In 2014 the work of the Parent Group funded a new sound system for the Hall and gave the School Council some money to purchase playground toys to make playtimes more fun.
In 2015-2016 they have bought every child a cap for school visits. This will help identify all of our children and keep them safe. They have also brought a shed for our garden so we store our ever growing gardening equipment! The School Council have recently written to the Parent Group a letter asking for more playground markings. They had a vote about their preferred markings! We are enjoying using our new playground markings at playtimes and are having lots of fun! The parent group also kindly contributed to our trip to the pantomime at Christmas which was amazing. THANK YOU! We are looking forward to going again next year. The parent group contributed to the cost of buying each child a special coin to celebrate the Queen's birthday. These will be treasured by all of the children.
